The certification of resistance to ageing in accordance with the relevant ISO 9706 standard ensures that documents are not damaged even after long periods of storage in archives and libraries.
The certified papers are entered into the FograCert database and published. On the product itself you can indicate the certification in the form of a FograCert logo.
Our procedure
After receipt of the order by Fogra you will receive an order confirmation which contains all details of the test period, contact person and price. The processing period for certification is approx. 2 to 3 weeks.
The following material tests are carried out:
Tearing resistance according to Elmendorf
Determination of the Alkali reserve
Determination of the Kappa number
Determination of the pH value
The evaluation of the results is carried out as prescribed in the ISO 9706 standard. In case of a successful certification we issue a certificate and list your paper in our FograCert database.
