The certified wash cloths are entered into the FograCert database and published. On the product itself you can indicate the certification in the form of a FograCert logo.
What you need to do
You would like to have your wash cloth certified (validity: 5 years) or renew an existing certification?
We need from you
a written order to carry out the certification,
8 rolls of the wash cloth with a width of 765 mm. This width is necessary because, among other things, printing tests on the Speedmaster XL 75 (Heidelberger Druckmaschinen) are carried out at Fogra.
Our procedure
After receipt of the order by Fogra you will receive an order confirmation which contains all details of the test period, contact person and price. The processing period for certification is approx. 4 to 6 weeks.
The following material tests are carried out:
Abrasion resistance
Thickness and basis weight
Absorbency
Tensile strength (breaking strength and max. elongation)
Loose fibres
Furthermore, printing tests are carried out in which the following parameters are checked:
Evaluation of the blanket after cleaning cycle
Washing agent residue after restart
In case of a successful certification we issue a certificate and list your wash cloth in our FograCert database.
